The legal fees or lawyer fees are paid by the buyer when buying a property in Spain.
These legal fees are usually paid after the purchasing process and they are paid to the lawyer that is helping you during the purchase process.
Most of the time the legal fee is between 0,7% - 1% of the sale price of the property.
It is common for lawyers to charge 1% of the purchase price but it might cost less if there is a straightforward purchase and if the price of the sale is high.
